Our particular finding in paddy field trials reveals that the product is very effective in improving crop resistivity against diseases & pest manifold, which is one of the major causes of Crop failure.
The business plan of SAPL is to prevent major causes of crop failure (commonly visual symptoms of crop failure are poor growth, attack of pests and diseases etc.) by providing the farmers with appropriate remedial measures to mitigate risk and improve quality, yield (productivity) and profitability. Generally, as we understand crop failure may be due to various reasons i.e., poor-quality seed, imbalanced nutrition management, over watering, under watering, inappropriate time of cropping etc. We see that most of the Farmers do not know the root cause of crop failure and instead, they go for symptomatic corrections i.e., applying more fertilizers, pesticides and fungicides. This results in excessive use of insecticides, pesticides and fungicides resulting poor nutrient content, and poor taste while also crossing the limit of maximum residue level of pesticides for consumption in our food. Ultimately, this reduces the farmer's income as there isn't enough 'value' in the farmer's final produce as seen from the consumer's perspective.
We intend to prevent the actual causes of crop failure and take appropriate crop management techniques to make individual crops healthy to fight against pests & diseases hence minimizing the use of chemical-based plant protection measures. We would encourage the farmers to cultivate pesticide-free crop produce within the acceptable limit of residues thus enhancing the 'value' of their product and connecting them to the healthy food market.
In other word, SAPL is focusing on 'Democratizing Healthy Food' for the Nation & the Globe. By 'Healthy' food, we mean tasty, nutritious, pesticide-residue-free and with extended Shelf life (in case of perishable products) of the produce in general. We do achieve these using Innovative product "KrantiMix" along with appropriate crop management technique. In other word one can refer it as "integrated nutrition and pest management (balanced inputs & crop management)" which makes plants so robust that they don't need external plant protection and even if they do, it's administered in a way that the produce is tastier, more nutritious, pesticide-free, has higher shelf life yet affordable.
